Welcome to the wonderful world
of Wrinklies...
It's a world where experience of
life and work are perceived as positive benefits.
A world where you are part of an
increasingly important sector of society.
Alas, it is also aligned to a world where age discrimination
is very much a reality when it comes to keeping or finding
a job. That, of course, is why we exist.
Regrettably, we cannot guarantee to find everyone a job.
We will only promise to try.
We will also try to help by providing information, by
listening, and by trying to answer any questions you may
have about finding a new job.
Our primary aim, however,
is to help registered candidates find employment.
The following paragraphs will explain how...

| EVERYONE
QUALIFIES AS A WRINKLIE |
It doesn't matter how young or old you are because
we accept everyone. As you might expect, the majority of people
who register with us are in their forties and fifties. But we have
many younger and older. The only condition is that you are available
for work, full or part time.
IT TAKES
ALL SORTS
TO MAKE A BUSINESS TICK |
Whatever your qualifications or experience,
you can register with Wrinklies Direct. We specialise in finding
employment for older candidates, so it really doesn't matter what
type of work you're looking for.
This also applies to seniority. Factory floor, boardroom, clerical,
senior engineer, scientist, sales, marketing.the list is virtually
endless. It takes a variety of skills and levels of experience to
run most types of business, so everyone has something to offer.
| REGISTERING
COULDN'T BE EASIER |
To register you need to send us your CV by first completing our online
registration form HERE.
You will remain registered until you ask to be removed from the database.
It's a simple process and registration is free.
| BEING
REGISTERED MEANS YOU'RE CONSIDERED FOR ALL VACANCIES |
Your details will be included in the search
for every suitable job brief we receive, so you don't need to do anything
further once you're registered. We may use a key word search on the
database but will also look through selected CVs and forms manually.
The details you enter on your Registration Form are, therefore, extremely
important.
If you ever need to update your details or replace your CV, just ask
for another form or send us the new CV.
As tempting as it might be, phoning to find out what's happening
isn't necessary. We'll be in touch if and when a suitable vacancy
arises. Try as we may, it's not possible to guarantee that this
will happen.
| SPECIFIC
JOB APPLICATIONS |
If a vacancy comes in that seems to match your
skills and experience, we'll be in touch at the contact numbers you've
provided. If we can't get you on the phone, we'll send a letter with
the details and ask you to phone us.
If we're in any doubt about your likely suitability for a particular
job, we'll make the contact anyway and let you decide.
Your details will never be forwarded to an employer without your permission.
We may from time to time conduct interviews on
behalf of our clients but, more often, your first interview will be
directly with a prospective employer for a specific vacancy.
Candidates frequently ask to arrange a separate interview with us
but because of the numbers involved, this is rarely possible.
If you need help prior to an interview,
tell us and we'll see if we can arrange some counselling over the
phone or even face-to-face.
We will always advise you to be yourself but a few tips and a little
confidence-building could be useful.
On occasion, candidates ask our advice on whether a job offer should
be accepted. As such decisions are very personal, we will try only
to provide as much information as we can about the employer.
